It’s that time of year again! The Pensacola Cycling Classic is coming to town September 17-18th. This is THE premier cycling event in Northwest Florida. Judging by the current registration numbers, this looks to be an even bigger event that last year!


What it is

Come enjoy the beautiful gulf coast and compete with the best in the southeast.  The  Pensacola Cycling Classic will feature 2 days of intense racing and include a Road race in beautiful Milton Florida that will weave through the scenic BlackWater State park,  a Time Trial that will be held on the worlds most beautiful beaches, and a Criterium that will be held in historic downtown Pensacola. Whether you are a hardened bike racer, a first-timer, or just a fan of cycling, the Classic has a lot to offer. If you are a first-time, or new racer you can purchase a 1 or 2-day license and compete in the Category 5 races. If you have been thinking about getting into racing, the Pensacola Classic is a fantastic opportunity, so give it a go!

If you are simply a local rider or a fan of the greatest sport on earth, then come on out to watch an exciting race series. The downtown criterium on Sunday is a great spectator event, where you can watch multiple high-speed laps around the historic downtown area. All of the bike-junkies will be out in full force, including some vendors and local race teams. Local businesses are there to support the race as well, so you can even enjoy a Sunday brunch along the route and sip your mimosas while you watch cyclists compete for the ultimate prize.
