2011 Florida RR Championship, Clermont, FL

Don Davis attacked the always strong masters field on lap 3 of a 9 lap race. He was able to strike a 46 second lead ahead of a two man chase group and remained almost 2 minutes ahead of the field with 3 laps remaining.

The 2 man chase group eventually joined up with Don and the 3 of them continued to put time on the field.

At 2 laps to go, Don and the 2 others were 2mins36secs ahead of the field.

On the Last lap, The field made up some time on the lead group of 3, but remained 2 mins behind with 7 miles of racing left.

Don did a lot of the work keeping that lead group of 3 riders ahead and was still able to sprint for 2nd place in a spectacular finish at the line.  Don Davis is now the masters 45-49 Florida Time Trial champion and 2nd place Road Race finisher!
